An used goods shopping center will be centered in Jembatan Item area, Rawa Bunga, Jatinegara.

Jembatan Item will be arranged first. And the shopping center will be integrated with agate market in Rawa Bening

To smoothen it, the East Jakarta Administration will arrange 435 street vendors who set up stall along Jembatan Item, and then will be accommodated as vendor temporary shelter (loksem) that will be guided by East Jakarta Small and Medium Enterprises Cooperatives (KUMKMP) Sub-dept.

Mayor of East Jakarta, Husein Murad disclosed, the used goods market will be integrated with agate market in Jakarta Gems Center or Rawa Bening Market. Thus it could also be used as used goods market such as at Jalan Surabaya in Menteng, Central Jakarta.

"Jembatan Item will be arranged first. And the market will be integrated with agate market in Rawa Bening," he stated, when he reviewed Jembatan Item, Wednesday (6/15).

If it has been arranged, all vendors will be included in auto debet program in its retribution payment.

While, Head of East Jakarta KUMKMP Sub-dept, Arfian disclosed the shopping center is managed by Cooperative Financial Services (KJK) from local urban villages. From 435 vendors, 215 of them have joined in KJK.

"By doing so, we hope all vendors could be concentrated there. Jembatan Item will be free from them," he hoped.

All this time, there are still found vendors selling on the sidewalk of Jalan Jatinegara Timur, Jalan Bekasi Timur I and other places.
