Jakarta Vice Governor Rano Karno officially closed the Jakarta Fair Kemayoran (JFK) 2026 at JIExpo Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, on Sunday (12/7).

He noted that JFK 2026 featured more than 1,800 booths, 2,800 exhibitors, and hundreds of MSMEs and industrial players from across Indonesia.
"JFK 2026 has once again proven its role as a showcase for Indonesia's leading products, while also serving as a hub for business, investment, and creativity," he asserted.
Rano expressed gratitude for the strong public enthusiasm, with 6.1 million visitors from Jakarta and other regions attending the event, generating approximately Rp8.2 trillion in transactions.
"We are grateful that this achievement reflects confidence in the resilience of Jakarta's economy. In the first quarter of 2026, Jakarta's economy grew by 5.59 percent and contributed 16.67 percent to the national economy," he said.
He added that the JFK contributes to economic optimism by bringing businesses and the public together, creating opportunities for transactions while expanding market access for local products.
Rano reaffirmed the Jakarta Provincial Government's commitment to strengthening the investment climate, supporting businesses and MSMEs in becoming more competitive and moving up the value chain, and encouraging the continued growth of the creative industry.
"Next year, Jakarta will celebrate its 500th anniversary, a historic milestone that we can all take pride in. I hope next year's Jakarta Fair will be even bigger, more vibrant, more innovative, and deliver even greater economic benefits," he pointed.
Meanwhile, JFK 2026 Organizing Committee Chair Hartati Murdaya thanked the Jakarta Governor and Vice Governor for their continued support of the event.
"Jakarta Fair helps promote trade and drive Jakarta's economy as the city approaches its 500th anniversary," she noted.
According to Hartati, JFK serves as a platform for multi-product exhibitions, entertainment, and business networking that promotes trade and investment, from MSMEs to national and international industries.
