Jakarta Claims Rp 2.27 T in Public Assets from Developer Obligations

The Jakarta government has officially received the handover of social and public facility (fasos-fasum) obligations for the first half of 2026, valued at Rp 2.27 trillion.

We've successfully completed 27 handover agreements today

The city signing of the handover minutes (BAST) took place at Balai Agung Great Hall, Jakarta City Hall on Thursday (8/6).

"We've successfully completed 27 handover agreements today. These assets, totaling Rp 2.27 trillion, represent the fulfillment of developer obligations to the city and its people," expressed Governor Pramono.

Pramono: Public Facility Assets Must Serve the Public Interest

The handed-over assets include 224,969 square meters of land, 81,603 square meters of construction work, and low-cost housing (RSM/S) conversions valued at Rp 56.96 billion.

Pram emphasized the importance of transparency in managing public facilities and the licensing process to ensure maximum benefit for the community.

By securing these developer obligations, he hopes to foster mutual trust between the Jakarta government and private developers.

"The most vital part of building Jakarta—above all else—is building trust," he explained.

The funds generated from Floor Area Ratio (KLB) compensation will be reinvested into Jakarta’s infrastructure, significantly reducing the burden on the City Budget (APBD). This strategic approach has played a key role in maintaining the city's positive economic growth.

"Once again, we express our deepest gratitude. Without collaboration, cooperation, and trust, it would be impossible to build this city effectively," he noted.

Jakarta Inspector Dhany Sukma added that the signing ceremony was immediately followed by the transfer of asset documents from Mayors to the Regional Asset Management Agency (BPAD). This ensures the facilities are instantly recorded as official government property.

"For the first half of 2026, the city has successfully secured 27 handover certificates for public facilities, with a total valuation by Rp 2.27 trillion," he stated.
