Transjakarta’s Ancol CFD Shuttle Enhances Public Accessibility

PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) has launched the '51ST Shuttle Car Free Day Ancol' service to facilitate public access to the Ancol Car Free Day (CFD) area.

We want to provide a comfortable option for the public

This service will commence operations on Sunday (8/9), and will be available during every CFD event from 6 AM to 10 AM.

Passengers can enjoy this service for a nominal fare by Rp 1 by tapping in and tapping out at the starting and ending points: Bundaran Senayan Station and the Bundaran Symphony of The Sea Bus Stop.

Transjakarta's PR and CSR Head, Ayu Wardhani, announced a route expansion for the Ancol Car Free Day shuttle this year.

The service, which previously ran from Monas to Ancol, has been extended to the Bundaran Senayan–Ancol route. This change is designed to make it easier for residents in Sudirman and Senayan to access Ancol using public transit.

"With this shuttle service, we want to provide a comfortable option for the public and encourage a shift from private cars to public transportation. Our aim is to make the trip to Ancol CFD more convenient, safe, and pleasant," she added, Monday (8/10).

She emphasized that the expansion reflects Transjakarta's commitment to offering wider and more integrated public transport options. The route adjustment aims to encourage more residents to use public transit when visiting Ancol for Car Free Day.

"This route features seven buses and 18 stops, with a total travel time of around 142 minutes," Ayu said.

To ensure seamless operations, Transjakarta has prepared dedicated service staff, onboard attendants, security, and real-time travel information.

"With this new route, we hope to see an increase in public transport usage for those heading to the Ancol CFD area," she added.

The 51ST Shuttle CFD Ancol serves 18 stops, namely: Bundaran Senayan, Senayan Bank Jakarta, Polda Metro Jaya, Bendungan Hilir, Karet, Dukuh Atas, Tosari, Bundaran HI Astra, MH Thamrin, Kebon Sirih (Northbound), Monumen Nasional, Pecenongan, Juanda, Pasar Baru Timur, Jembatan Merah, Gunung Sahari, Pademangan, and the Bundaran Symphony of The Sea Bus Stop in Ancol. This service operates as a round-trip on the same route.

Additionally, the public can access the Ancol area via regular Transjakarta services through the Ancol Station, which is served by Corridor 5 (Kampung Melayu–Ancol) and Corridor 12 (Pluit–Tanjung Priok), as well as several integrated feeder services.
