Kelapa Gading SMEs Showcase Products at Jakpreneur Bazaar

Thirty small and medium enterprises (SMEs) participated in the Kelapa Gading District Jakpreneur Bazaar to celebrate the 81st anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia's independence. The event was held in the courtyard of the Kelapa Gading District Office, North Jakarta.

Visitors' enthusiasm was tremendous

Head of Kelapa Gading District, DTM Rahmat Syahputra said this activity serves as a manifestation of inter-agency synergy aimed at fostering community economic growth while simultaneously enlivening the commemoration of the 81st anniversary of Indonesia's independence.

"In addition to the bazaar, the district office hosted various lively competitions, ranging from an independence parade, tumpeng (cone-shaped rice) contests, "dragon snake" games, fishing, cracker eating contests, and more," he said Thursday (8/13).

This bazaar serves not only as a platform for promoting local products but also as a venue for education and entertainment.

Head of Kelapa Gading PPKUKM Unit, Susanti Rizkasari, explained the bazaar held in celebration of Indonesia's Independence Day in the Kelapa Gading area was conducted in two sessions.

"The first session took place yesterday and today, while the second session will be held in the RW 10 area of ​​Kelapa Gading Timur Urban Village on August 16–17," she explained.

She added that the products sold consist primarily of various culinary items, such as meatballs, siomai (steamed fish dumplings), coffee, refreshing drinks, and more. Additionally, fashion items and handicrafts are also available.

"The visitors' enthusiasm was tremendous, and the atmosphere was incredibly lively," she added.
