Rano explained that the development of Jakarta's music ecosystem is supported by audience enthusiasm and public appreciation for creative works. These conditions make Jakarta increasingly attractive for international musicians to visit and interact with their fans.
"Beyond serving as a music showcase, Jakarta Beats Society provides a platform for networking, collaboration, and knowledge sharing, while also introducing Indonesian musical talent to the international stage," he explained.
Rano affirmed that the Jakarta Provincial Government would continue to support the development of the arts and culture ecosystem, including by providing spaces and opportunities for creative communities.
This commitment is evident across various creative sectors, including the film industry, through initiatives such as the Jakarta Film Commission, which supports filmmakers and contributes to the growth of Jakarta's film ecosystem.
As for information, the festival and showcase featured a number of Indonesian and international musicians, as well as delegates from various international festivals and the music industry.
The lineup includes Iwa K, Mongdoll, Satya Cipta, Jordy Waelauruw, and Bottlesmoker. Additionally, the event involves delegates and representatives from international music festivals, such as Global Fest (USA), the Edinburgh Festival (UK), the Jarasum Jazz Festival (South Korea), and Zaman Production (France).
