"The number of recipients of the second phase of food aid decreased by around 300 recipients, due to suspected involvement in online gambling and so on," he said, Tuesday (9/15).
He added that the distribution of food aid was carried out in stages to prevent crowds of residents at the urban village office.
"So every day, we invite residents from two neighborhood units (RW) to collect rice food aid. We deploy PPSU personnel to help transport the rice to the elderly residents," he added.
According to him, food aid from the government really helps Bungur residents to meet their daily needs.
Meanwhile, one of the local residents, Agustinawati expressed her gratitude to the government for providing food aid.
"I have received food aid twice during 2026. The quality of the rice is quite good and hopefully other aid such as cooking oil in the first phase of aid will be provided in the next phase of aid," she hoped.
