A total of 100 joint personnel cleaned the water channels on Jalan Raya Munjul, RT 03/05, Munjul Urban Village, and in RT 07/01, Cilangkap Urban Village, Cipayung District, East Jakarta.
Prevent potential flooding
Head of Cipayung District, Diman said cleaning was carried out because the condition of the water channel was filled with mud sedimentation and rubbish.

Diman explained that if the cleaning carried out today is not complete, the activity will continue next Sunday.
"The number of personnel will be increased so that all channels can be cleaned immediately," he added.
Meanwhile, Head Section of Economy and Development for Cipayung District, Tuti Lestari stated that a number of facilities and infrastructure were also prepared, such as dump trucks, hoes, machetes, grass clippers, shovels and sacks to support the cleaning process.
"We invite the public to continue to maintain environmental cleanliness, including by not throwing rubbish into the drains," she appealed.
