LRT Project to Dukuh Atas is Targeted for Completion in 2028

Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung said that the continuation of the Jakarta LRT construction from Manggarai Station to Dukuh Atas will be carried out no later than January 2027.

He confirmed that the Jakarta Provincial Government had prepared the budget needed to implement the development.

"For the construction of LRT from Manggarai to Dukuh Atas, I have requested that because the funds are already available, the latest is January to start," said Pramono, Thursday (9/17).

According to Pramono, the Jakarta to Dukuh Atas LRT construction project is targeted for completion in August 2028.

"In August 2028, it can be completed up to Dukuh Atas," he added.

Meanwhile, the LRT service on the Kelapa Gading-Manggarai route officially began operating on Wednesday (9/16). The Jakarta LRT is also integrated with Transjakarta at 11 stations.

"I've ordered TransJakarta to be included in all 11 LRT routes. If TransJakarta can't be used, then Mikrotrans, whether it's Jaklingko, or something similar," he continued.

Pramono stated that Manggarai is projected to become a new transportation hub, serving up to 1.3 million daily passengers. Therefore, the Jakarta Provincial Government is also focusing on improvements and developments in Manggarai to ensure it can optimally function as a hub for Jakarta's integrated transportation systems, such as the Commuter Line (KRL), LRT (Light Rail Transit), and Transjakarta.

"What will be run immediately now is to make improvements to Manggarai so that it can function well immediately," he emphasized.
