Executives Applaud DPRD's Approval of 2026 Revised Regional Budget

The Plenary Session of the Jakarta City Council (DPRD), Tuesday (9/22), agreed to and ratified the Regional Regulation on Changes to the 2026 Regional Budget.

Important notes for follow-up by the Executive Board

The total change in the Jakarta Provincial Regional Budget for the 2026 Fiscal Year is Rp. 79,562,435,180,601 (Seventy-nine trillion five hundred sixty-two billion four hundred thirty-five million one hundred eighty thousand six hundred and one rupiah).

The Jakarta Vice Governor, Rano Karno, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the leadership and members of the Jakarta City who had ratified the 2026 Revised Regional Budget.

Rano said that the Jakarta City Council has been serious, careful and thorough in reviewing all the substance of the draft regional regulation until it was determined as a regional regulation.

"Various suggestions, comments and recommendations from the council submitted during the process of discussing, finalizing and approving this Regional Regulation are important notes for follow-up by the Executive Board," he said, Tuesday (9/22).

Rano hopes that the spirit of partnership and synergy that has been well established between the Executive and Legislative can continue to be strengthened and optimized, so that it can produce various strategic work programs that benefit the people of Jakarta.

"On behalf of the Executive, I would like to express my gratitude and highest appreciation to the leadership and all members of the council who have given their approval to the Regional Regulation concerning Amendments to the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget for the 2026 Fiscal Year," he stated.
