As for the Dukuh Atas district—serving as a key integration hub—is continuously being developed not merely as a public transit terminal, but as a vibrant urban center hosting a wide array of activities. The ongoing construction of a pedestrian deck in the area will further enhance the functional value and appeal of the TOD zone.

MRT Jakarta is committed to eco-friendly TOD development, implementing waste management based on Jakarta Governor Instruction No. 5/2026 on source-based waste sorting.
"We're currently exploring partners for waste sorting in TOD areas, following government regulations. We plan to sort waste on-site, leaving only residue to be hauled away, and will partner with regional agencies for processing facilities," he explained, Friday (9/25).
He explained that MRT Jakarta is preparing simultaneous TOD projects alongside the Phase 2 MRT construction from Bundaran HI to Kota.
Future TOD projects will focus on property development and multi-modal integration to build connected and sustainable urban spaces.
"It aims to boost economic activity, improve urban mobility, strengthen connectivity, and optimize land value along the MRT corridor," he explained.
MRT Jakarta, partnering with the Indonesian Embassy in Singapore, Surbana Jurong Group, and IIPC Singapore, hosted the TOD Investment Forum 2026 on Thursday (9/24) at the Indonesian Embassy.
At the forum, MRT Jakarta highlighted planned TOD projects including Kali Besar Heritage, Ultimate Development Blok M, Blok M Interchange, XGL Glodok Mixed-Use, and Lebak Bulus Park & Ride and Mixed-Use.
MRT is targeting Southeast Asian and Singaporean investors for TOD projects at its annual forum themed 'From Singapore to Jakarta: Capitalizing on Urban Density and Connectivity.'
The forum convened investors, developers, financial institutions, and partners to explore cooperation opportunities for MRT Jakarta and other Jakarta BUMD projects.
Notably, the Jakarta government appointed PT MRT Jakarta as the primary operator for TOD development under Governor Regulation No. 140/2017.
This mandate was reinforced by Bylaw No. 11/2024, requiring the company to develop and manage TOD areas around MRT stations and act as a transport integrator.
