West Jakarta Runs Mental Revolution

Deputy Mayor of West Jakarta, M. Zen appealed to all civil servants (PNS) in his administration to realize Jakarta that is clean, advance and able to serve in accordance with the city's 489th anniversary's theme.

"We have the capability and collective energy to arrange the capital into a modern city, decent occupancy and humane, as well as governance-oriented public service," he disclosed, when he led a ceremony of city's anniversary in the office of West Jakarta Mayor, Wednesday (22/6).

In front of civil servant, he explained about police directions of Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama. They are bureaucratic reform, welfare, fostering employment and health service. Currently, the bureaucratic system in the city administration has undergone many changes.

"For instance, open-recruitment for high leadership position, competency test for urban village and sub-district head candidate and other structural position," he expressed.

He added that the city administration also has been perfecting remuneration policy by increasing the amount of Regional Performance Allowance (TKD).

"It is hoped able to improve service that followed by mental revolution," he hoped.
