Transjakarta Improves Service Efficiency via Flats Route Adjustments

PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) adjusted several feeder routes serving the Low-cost apartments (Rusunawa) area starting September 26, 2026, as an effort to optimize operations and improve service quality.

Transjakarta PR and CSR Department Head Ayu Wardhani stated the adjustment reflects the company's commitment to providing reliable, safe, and efficient public transit by combining neighboring routes.

“This strategic adjustment aligns public mobility needs with operational efficiency, ensuring residents in the flat areas maintain easy, fast, and integrated access," she expressed, Tuesday (9/29).

Transjakarta Adjusts Eight Routes Following Protests

She explained the adjustment maximizes route reach and efficiency without harming residents' comfort. Transjakarta ensures fleet numbers remain unchanged and maintains affordable access.

“Despite route mergers and closures, fleet numbers won't be reduced. We're even deploying dedicated buses departing directly from each flat to ensure residents' daily activities run smoothly," she explained.

Here are the Transjakarta route adjustments for flats:

• Merged Routes 9F & 3C (Kapuk Muara & Tambora Flats): Routes 9F and 3C are combined to optimize service in Kapuk Muara and Tambora Flats. Transjakarta provides dedicated buses from Tambora Flats directly to Penjaringan Bus Stop.

• Merged Routes 12H & 12C (Pluit Reservoir & Penjaringan Flats): Routes 12H and 12C are combined to serve Pluit Reservoir and Penjaringan Flats. Transjakarta deploys dedicated buses from Penjaringan Flats directly to Penjaringan Bus Stop for convenient connections.

• Route 10A Closed and Redirected to Route 12F & JAK 15: Route 10A is officially closed. Public mobility in the corridor is now served by Route 12F and JAK 15. To maintain headways and capacity, Route 10A buses are fully reallocated to strengthen Route 12F operations.
