Central Jakarta Ready to Undergo Adipura 2026 Assessment

The Central Jakarta City Government continues to prepare for the Adipura 2026 assessment. Various efforts are being made by all levels to achieve the best results.

The Mayor of Central Jakarta, Arifin, emphasized that the Adipura award is not just a trophy or certificate, but a reflection of cleanliness, comfort and quality in maintaining the environment.

"Adipura is real evidence of a shared commitment to maintaining the beauty, cleanliness and sustainability of the environment for the welfare of the community," he said, Tuesday (9/29).

The challenge of managing cleanliness, Arifin emphasized, is not just about sweeping the streets but also reducing waste from the source, managing waste properly, closing down landfills that do not meet requirements, and changing people's behavior.

"Cleanliness is not only the government's job, but the responsibility of all elements of society," he added.

Meanwhile, a representative from the Indonesian Ministry of Environment, Wendy Adriayani, explained that the Adipura assessment will begin with the first monitoring phase, which will take place from October to December 2026.

The initial assessment and verification monitoring phase will continue from January to March 2027.

"Finalization of the results delivery is planned to be carried out in April and the Adipura award will be presented in June 2027," he said.
