The Jakarta administration keeps boosting the quality of local workers and business owners by launching a Digital Marketing Vocational Training initiative powered by a Creative Financing scheme.
Digital technology is clearly transforming how businesses operate
The training runs from October 5 to November 17, 2026, at the South Jakarta PPKD Building on Jalan H. Samali, with 40 participants participating across two separate classes.
Key officials attending the Creative Financing Digital Marketing program included Jakarta Regional Secretariat Assistant for Economy and Finance Suharini Eliawati, Jakarta Manpower and Energy Agency Head Syaripudin, Jakarta BUMD Development Agency Head Syaefulloh Hidayat, along with representatives of Jakarta-owned enterprises (BUMD).

The strategic program brings together the Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration, and Energy Agency (represented by South Jakarta PPKD and FKLPID) and BUMD Development Agency through Bank Jakarta. In this joint effort, Bank Jakarta delivers funding support through a Creative Financing model.
Jakarta Regional Secretariat Assistant for Economy and Finance Suharini Eliawati explained that the program is designed to bolster workforce development by ensuring people have the right skills to meet current job market needs.
"Digital technology is clearly transforming how businesses operate. Marketing strategies have shifted, consumer habits have changed, and the demand for digital-savvy talent is steadily rising," she expressed, Monday (10/5).
In her view, upgrading people's skills is essential so they can do more than just adapt to change—they can turn it into an advantage.
"I hope this training goes beyond theory to give participants practical skills, a strong portfolio, and the confidence they need to step into the workforce, scale up their businesses, and unlock new economic opportunities," she added.
She emphasized that the program is built on deep collaboration between the government, BUMD, private businesses, training centers, and industry. Because of this, Creative Financing is more than just a way to fund projects—it is a partnership model.
"It’s all about uniting the unique strengths and resources of every partner to create greater public value," she stated.
Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration, and Energy Agency Head Syaripudin stated this program is more than just funding for a training workshop—it is about creating an ecosystem of collaboration to solve real-world community needs.
In his view, digital transformation has completely altered how companies operate, how job seekers find work, and how businesses market their goods and services.
"In this day and age, knowing how to leverage digital tools is no longer just a bonus. Digital competency has become central to professional skills and entrepreneurial success," he added.
Syaripudin added that digital marketing training holds a strategic role in Jakarta's trajectory as a global city. Participants are expected not merely to grasp social media management or digital content creation, but also to master market dynamics, consumer behavior, marketing strategies, branding, digital communication, and platform utilization—ultimately translating digital engagement into tangible economic opportunities.
"Through this initiative, participants are expected to expand their market reach digitally while gaining access to sound and innovative funding solutions, fostering inclusive regional economic growth," he stated.
