City Proposes New BBNKB Tax by 15 Percent

Jakarta Provincial Government will propose an increase for vehicle-ownership transfer fees (BBNKB) tax. Previously, the tax was 10 percent, now it is proposed to be 15 percent.
15 percent of tax is calculated for new vehicle
Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama admitted the proposal is being proposed to city council. The regulation will be managed under bylaw (Perda).
“The regulation must be in form of bylaw,” he said, Thursday (6/23).

“15 percent of tax is calculated for new vehicle,” he said.
The regulation is managed under Perda No. 2/2015 about Vehicle Tax. In last 2015 ago, his side had proposed an increase to city council. But it was refused.
“New analysis has been made to complete the proposal,” he closed.
