Jakarta Esports 2026: Celebrating Local Games, Music and More

The Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Agency is organizing Jakarta Esports 2026, taking place at M Bloc Space, Blok M, South Jakarta on November 13, 2026.

Visitor turnout is expected to bring positive ripple effects

Free and open to all, the event puts the spotlight on showcasing local Indonesian games, bolstered by esports competitions, live music, cosplay, and interactive community activities.

Jakarta Esports 2026 is a part of the event series commemorating Jakarta's 5th Centenary, reinforcing initiatives to elevate the city's attractiveness as a creative, inclusive, and globally competitive metropolis.

The event entails strategic collaborations with ESI Jakarta, Garudaku, MPL ID, AGI, and E-Project, as well as multiple esports groups, encompassing collegiate communities.

Jakarta Marketing and Attractions Section Head Lucky Wulandari, said that Jakarta Esports 2026 aims to foster collaboration among game developers, players, communities, musicians, and creative industry stakeholders.

"Hopefully, local developers and creative players are given room to present their work, expand their reach, and build meaningful interactions with communities and the public," she added.

According to her, by featuring local game showcases, Jakarta Esports 2026 offers Indonesian developers a prominent stage to present their work to a broader demographic.

Festivalgoers can experience local titles firsthand and get the chance to play alongside featured professional esports players.

"May local developers and industry stakeholders find a viable venue to present their creations, extend their market reach, and foster connection with the gaming community and the wider public," she elaborated.

Lucky hoped local titles would boost the country’s gaming ecosystem, broaden developers' market exposure, and connect creators with communities and potential players.

"Visitor turnout is expected to bring positive ripple effects for Jakarta's tourism and economic sectors, including local transport, dining, lodging, and creative businesses surrounding the event," she emphasized.

Highlighting the agenda, a Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournament offers a total cash prize of Rp 50 million. The committee aims to attract 300 teams; as of October 16, 2026, 126 teams have signed up, with open registration running through November 4, 2026.

The festival will be enlivened by musical acts Dipha Barus, Fiersa Besari, and Ghea Indrawari, as well as community gatherings and cosplay sessions. The lineup serves as a creative hub for the public, especially young people.
