Jl Juanda III Still Inundated

Heavy rain that flushed the capital, causing inundation on Jl Juanda III, Kebon Kelapa Urban Village. At 10.30 PM, the road as long as 300 meters is still inundated up to 60 centimeters high.

Suryadi (43), one of local citizens said it has happened since 6.30 AM, that is in front of Bank DKI building until Jl Batu Tulis Raya as long as 300 meters.

"In front of Bank DKI, the water level was previously touching 70 centimeters. And now has begun to recede since 7.30 PM," he stated, Friday (6/24) night.

"Batu Tulis area is still inundated. But the condition is better than before," he expressed.

He admitted, Jl Juanda III is indeed prone to inundation if heavy rain pours more than two hours. But, this year, it quickly recedes than last year. "Considering the water channel had been dredged," he finished.
