Starting Today, Commuter Train Serves Ancol Station

After about a year of preparation, PT KAI Commuter Jabodetabek (PT KCJ) finally operates commuter train towards Ancol Station today, Saturday (6/25). Train will serve 12 trips from and to Jakarta Kota Station.

It is hoped able to reduce the buildup of the passengers in Jakarta Kota Station during homecoming

PT KCJ Director, Muhammad Nurul Fadhila disclosed it is a follow-up after the operation of the passing train (Jakarta Kota-Tanjung Priok) since last December.

"It is hoped able to reduce the buildup of the passengers in Jakarta Kota Station during homecoming," he stated, Saturday (6/24).

Homecoming Season, 12 Companies Prepare Free Trip

He added such service will surely facilitate for passengers who will spend time on vacation to Ancol. Especially on July 6-10, 2016, the bus service would be prepared to serve people from and to station where the schedule will be adjusted with train departure.

"In the upcoming holiday, Ancol Station will be projected as a transit access about 800 people per day. The number was derived from 12 train trips that serve Jakarta Kota-Tanjung Priok every day," he expressed.

Here are schedule lists of commuter line for Ancol and Jakarta Kota, as follows:

Jakarta Kota-Ancol

KA 2302: Jakarta Kota at 6.35 AM

KA 2308: Jakarta Kota at 8.25 AM 

KA 2318: Jakarta Kota at 11.40 AM 

KA 2322: Jakarta Kota at 1.05 PM 

KA 2326: Jakarta Kota at 2.25 PM 

KA 2334: Jakarta Kota at 5 PM

Ancol-Jakarta Kota:

KA 2305: Ancol at 8 AM

KA 2315: Ancol at 11.15 PM 

KA 2319: Ancol at 12.35 PM

KA 2323: Ancol at 2 PM 

KA 2331: Ancol at 4.35 PM 

KA 2335: Ancol at 5.55 PM
