Receiving Parcel, Jakarta PNS will Be Sanctioned

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama warns Jakarta civil servants (PNS) to refuse the Eid parcel from someone. If not, they will be sanctioned.

"No parcel for PNS. If someone gives parcel to them and accepted, they should return it," he stated, Saturday (6/25).

Djarot: No Parcel for Civil Servants

Basuki disclosed, the city administration has had a gratification team for Jakarta PNS. They will check and record those who receive the parcel. "We have the gratification team, they will be watching," he expressed.

If they recklessly receive the parcel, the regional performance allowance (TKD) will be cut. Aside that, he believes there are no employees bring official car for homecoming. "I think, they won't use the official car for homecoming," he said.

As known, th KPK issued a ban on civil servants and officials receive the parcel or gift from any party. PNS also prohibited from asking parcels, gifts or other facilities from the private side, including asking Eid Allowance (THR) from partner companies.

They also prohibit use of state assets for personal interest, such as the use of official car for homecoming. If there is gratification, each agency was asked to report the case at the latest 30 days.
