500 Medical Officers Prepared in the Upcoming Homecoming

Jakarta Health Dept has deployed 500 medical officers to serve the homecomers in the upcoming Eid homecoming and returning flow. Those will be placed in five cities, especially at 53 points of health post that set up until 12 days after Eid ul Fitr.

Jakarta Health Dept Head, Koesmadi Priharto said 500 medical officers willl be spread in terminal and station in Jakarta. They will help and serve residents who experience health problems.

"We send 500 officers during homecoming and returning flow. They are on standy at 53 health posts that have been set up since yesterday," he stated, Saturday (6/25).

Among health posts are set up in some main terminals such as Kampung Rambutan, Pulo Gadung, Tanjung Priok, Rawamangun, and Kalideres. Then the post is also located at Jatinegara, Gambir, Senen, and Tanah Abang stations.

He will check the driver's health of intercity-interprovincial (AKAP) bus. If they are unhealthy, they cannot operate.

"This is for long trip, so they should be in good health. If not, they cannot operate. This is for the safety of the passenger," he asserted.
