Dengue Case in East Jakarta Is Getting Worse

The dengue fever case in East Jakarta is getting rampant.

They (jumantik) do not dare to make a report when finding dengue cases in the field. There must be significant progress in future

Responding on this matter, Mayor of East Jakarta, Bambang Musyawardana suspected wiggler hunter (jumantik) performance is unoptimal. He threatened to replace those who work slow.

He also intends to report it to the governor and propose to not absorb the jumantik's wage. It would be done if there was no significant progress in suppressing dengue fever case.

According to the data, the dengue fever case since January-June has hit 4,274 and killed five people. The number was ranked first in Jakarta.

"They (jumantik) do not dare to make a report when finding dengue cases in the field. There must be significant progress in future," he stated, Wednesday (6/29).

Local headmen were also asked to more serious in monitoring the activity of anti-mosquito campaign (PSN). If dengue case is detected, report it soon to the SKPD for further action. 

Post-Eid ul Fitr, he promised to intensify PSN in all regions. It is a must and will be done randomly. It is expected able to change people mind to care for the environment.
