Verification for KJP Receiver Must Detail

Dini Maharani, (14), a student of SMPN 70 in Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta is eligible for Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) every year. But, this year, she no longer receives it due to unrecorded by her teacher.

Based on our procedure, every student who will get KJP must be verified, instead of just announced

Dini Anisa (14), an older sister of Dini said, she and her sister always receive KJP every year. For this year, her sister did not receive it because she does not respond when being asked by teacher. During re-verification process of KJP, both are not classmates.

"Dini class is in 7E and I am in 7A. When being called by homeroom teacher one by one, he/she throws some questions like do you have a car or a motorbike? How much pocket money given?. But in 7E, the teacher only asks who gets KJP?," she told, when being meet in school, Tuesday (7/19).

Because her sister is sick, she did not raise her hand and did not respond at all when the teacher announced something.

SMPN 70 Administration Sub-Section Head, Sudahad said that the teacher is supposed to conduct data verification by calling students who propose KJP, instead of "just calling", but must be verified and survey their homes.

"Based on our procedure, every student who will get KJP must be verified, instead of just announced," he explained, when being met in SMPN 70.

Meanwhile, Head of Central Jakarta Region 1 Education Sub-dept, Sudjadiono when being confirmed said, Dini did not get KJP, because of operator mistake. Thus the data that has been inputted is not listed in the system.

"The data was inputted, but one button is not pressed, thus it is not inputted in the system," he explained.

However, Sudjadiono ensured, if she got KJP this month and his party would ask the schools to monitor and control the input data, so the similar case can be prevented in future.

"This year, I ensure they will get KJP," he asserted.
