520 SMP Students Missed First Day UN

A total of 520 SMP/MTs/SMPLB students in Jakarta did not attend on the first day of National Exam (UN) on Monday (5/5). Nevertheless, they still have a chance to take the following tests that will be held next week.

Secretary of Jakarta Education Department, Achmad Firdaus, said the exam for junior high school (SMP) level went smooth and safe without leak answer keys during the exam.

131,823 SMP Students to Undergo National Exam on May 5-8

Based on Jakarta Education Department data, the amount of SMP/MTs/SMPLB students registered as UN participants is 131,892 students. The first day exam was only joined by 131,372 students or 99.61 percent. That means, 520 students or 0.39 percent were absent.

According to Firdaus, the students that missed the exam still have a chance to take the following tests that will be held on upcoming May 12-16. The subjects tested are Indonesian, Mathematic, English, and Natural Sciences (IPA).
