National Exam, CCTV Installed at SMPN 85

In order to smoothen the implementation of national exam today or Monday (5/5), the school decided to install the closed circuit television (CCTV) cameras in the classroom. As it looks in the Junior High School (SMP) 85 Pondok Labu, South Jakarta. The CCTV installed in each classroom aims to prevent cheating action among students.

"Of the 24 classes, we install the CCTV in 20 classes. Thus, the students' activity can directly be supervised from the principal's office," said Bambang Wiyono, who is also a Counseling Teacher at SMP 85 Pondok Labu, Monday (5/5).

By so, he continued, the student's activity can be monitored easily. "Through CCTV installation, we could monitor the students optimally," he told.

131,823 SMP Students to Undergo National Exam on May 5-8

As many as 28 supervisors from eight private schools and 20 others from state school in South Jakarta were prepared to monitor the implementation of national exam. "Totally, we have 48 supervisors here. Then for 9th grader, there are 259 students participating in the exam," he expressed.

Wiyono stated that before the exam begins, supervisor and the student's cell phone is stored in a place that has been provided. "Besides students, we also seize supervisor's cell phone for smoothing the exam," he explained.

Students are welcome to sit in the class at 7.10 AM, and start the exam at about 7.30 AM. The exam will be held for 4 days or May 5-8, 2014. On the first day, the subject tested is Indonesian.
