5 Portals on KBT Bike Lane Are Marred

At least five portals along the bike lane of the East Flood Canal (KBT) are marred by irresponsible people. As a result, the lane that should be sterile is now passed by the motorbike.

The marred portals are on the north side of Duren Sawit KBT, starting from McDonald's until Duren Sawit Hospital. Similar condition is also spotted in Cipinang Muara, Jatinegara. Generally, the portal is made of iron. As for the other portals made MCB concrete are missing.

Duren Sawit Sub-district Satpol PP Head, Andik Sukaryanto disclosed, the five marred portals in the region is under repair process. The repair gets aid from bike community that cares on the bike lane.

He admitted, due to this condition, many motorbikes pass the bike lane.

"We'll continue to do guarding thus the bike lane can be safe from motorbike," he finished.
