City Asset in E. Jakarta Labeled with Barcode

The East Jakarta Regional Asset Management (KPAD) makes a barcode for asset belongs to Jakarta Provincial Government. All assets in urban village and sub-district are been labeled with barcode.

Barcode has been labeled in assets that spread in 65 urban villages and 10 sub-districts

"Barcode has been labeled in assets that spread in 65 urban villages and 10 sub-districts," expressed Riswan Sentosa, Head of East Jakarta KPAD, Thursday (7/21).

According to him, at this time, his side is still accelerating barcode making for 21 sub-departments, 17 offices, 25 units of Technical Management Units (UPT), 3 RSUDs and 10 puskesmas.

Regional Asset Inventory in S. Jakarta Monitored Intensively

"We're targeting barcode installation by the end of this September. Thus, 152 SKPDs in East Jakarta can enter into the Asset Information System (SIA) and print barcode," he told.

Barcode is labeled in all types of goods, either movable or immovable, such as in the table, chairs, computers, motorcycles, cars, pumps and so on.

In the barcode, there are the data on each item. They are like types of goods, date of purchase, asset use, location and so on. Until now, barcode installation is still ongoing.
