"According to government regulation, the decision of strategic and non-strategic can still be taken. Thereby, he will delegate the task of strategic and non-strategic in the vice governor. I think the President will reply letter like that," said Basuki, at City Hall, Tuesday (5/6).
The regulation in question is Government Regulation No. 4/2008 about Third Amendment and Government Regulation No.6/2005 about Election, Ratification, Promotion, and Dismissal of Local and Vice Local Head.
Jokowi Ready to Take LeaveBasuki acknowledged there is no significant difference with the work patterns during Jokowi takes leave. Moreover, Jokowi also had taken a leave on a weekday several times before. "The difference is only we talk via cell phone," he expressed.
He predicts Jokowi to take leave on the first day opening of registration as a presidential candidate which falls on May 18, until the announcement of the elected president. Jokowi prefers to take a long leave rather than resign as governor office. If he resigned, he would deal with the Legislative Council (DPRD) and would take a long time. "If he (Jokowi) wants to resign, there must be permission from DPRD," he uttered.
As Acting Official of Governor, Basuki intends to mutate the ranks of regional working unit (SKPD). "I'll do it after the presidential election is over," he stressed.
