MRT Depot Project Accelerated

Five plots of land in Lebak Bulus Terminal, South Jakarta for Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) depot has been acquired. Even, building on the land also been demolished thus contractor has continued depot project.

"Acquisition and demolishment is done today. The contractor who works on full speed. It can be accelerated. Because there has been no constrains on depot project," disclosed M Natsir, Director of Construction for PT MRT Jakarta, Wednesday (7/27).

Due to land acquisition constrains, the MRT project had to be rescheduled. But he ensures it will be complete this year.

MRT Depot Land Buying Process Has No Problem

"Supposedly the physical project would be complete in August. Due to land acquisition problem, we had to reschedule it where it will be complete at the end of 2018 or early 2019," he disclosed.

He added, after five plots are acquired, the problem is almost solved.

"There is only one plot for entrance," he stated.
