Flyover Construction is Slated in September

Jakarta Dept. of Bina Marga targets to start flyover and underpass construction in September. Now the auction process has been completed. It awaits the winner announcement by Jakarta Goods and Service Procurement Board (BPPBJ).

Yusmada Faisal, head of agency, said the construction is run in multi years system, 2016 and 2017.
“Our hope is contract can be signed in September,” he said, Friday (7/29).
Underpass will Be Built at Intersection of Matraman-SalembaBefore holding the auction, he added, several processes such as public hearing, environmental impact analysis, and so on have been held first.
Usually, the contract with the auction winner is conducted in December. But this year is different, contract can be signed in September.
Previously, the construction targets nine spots. But one spot has problem and must be postponed. There will be eight locations of flyover and underpass construction in Bintaro Permai, Cipinang Lontar, Jalan Panjang.
Others are Pancoran Flyover, Mampang-Kuningan Underpass Matraman and Salemba Underpass, Kartini Underpass, and Santa Underpass.
