Dozens of street vendor (PKL) cart at Jalan Kramat Jati Jaya Batu, Johar Baru, Central Jakarta were controlled by joint personnel. The controlling was held since PKL occupied sidewalk and water channel.
We control 30 carts today
Johar Baru Sub-district Vice, Yassin Pasaribu, admitted his side has conducted socialization to PKL. They are forbidden to occupy sidewalk and water channel. It is based on Bylaw No. 8/2007 about Public Order.
“We control 30 carts today,” he said, Monday (8/1).
PKL and PMKS Flocked Car Free DayCart owners can take their properties again after signing the statement letter. After this, they can not occupy the same location again.
“If the are caught again, we’ll seize their properties,” he added.
Tgere were 25 joint personnel of Satpol PP, army and police deployed during the raid.
