Jokowi Inaugurates 40 Units of Row Village in Cilincing

Jakarta Governor Joko 'Joko' Widodo inaugurates 40 units of row villages located on Jalan Rekreasi, RW 04, Cilincing, Thursday (5/8). The project is realized to eliminate slums in the capital. Through this program, every citizen gets financial assistance for construction as much as Rp 54 million with an area of ​​36 square meters. The fund itself is directly given without intermediaries, with a two-stage liquefaction.

Jokowi disclosed that such project is a program in 2013. While for 2014 budget, 70 new units would be built at the same site, where its total becomes 110 units. Regarding the lack of water issues, it planned to be realized in the near future.

Row Village Project in Two RWs in East Jakarta Cancelled

He added that row village project in North Jakarta was carried out in 6 locations with 240 houses. Then this year, its amount will increase to 1,800 houses.

"By doing so, I hope locals can also maintain the cleanliness well," he hoped.
