West Jakarta Sub-dept. of Water Management dredges connecting channel at Meruya Indah, Jalan Meruya Selatan. The project is aimed to add the channel volume during rainy season.
The sediment has reached one meter
“The sediment has reached one meter,” said Imron Syahrin, head of agency, Thursday (8/11).
According to him, Jalan Meruya Selatan will be inundated during heavy rain. The water level could reach 30 cm.
Pondok Gading Connecting Channel Dredged“The channel width is five meter. We dredge along 200 meter. The water should flow normally to Labrata connecting channel at Meruya Utara,” he added.
