Jakarta Vice Governor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama, suspected there are smuggled mark up of 10,271 janitors by Non-PNS City Cleanliness Department Officers.

Basuki assumed that the high number of 10,271 is a stealth number since if that number is true, then the city will be free from any garbage.

“If the number is true, then Jakarta has to be clean without your help. I believe this number is a stealth number,” stated the former of Belitung Timur Regent in an open meeting of garbage transporting matter with private party at City Hall, Thursday (5/8).

Basuki suspicion occurs because in the meeting he had, he received a report contained some hand writing scratches on that computer type report. Also, the uncertainty janitor numbers were also reinforced by the absence list names with their working area placement in each region.

“It is not reported, who are the janitors and where do they work. I give two weeks to report it again. If it is needed to be added to 20 thousand janitors, then tell it. No need to be exceeded,” explained Basuki.

In that report, there is only a private party who could specify the janitor amount of 864 people in West Jakarta.
