City Council Highlights Cancellation on Purchase of Heavy Equipment

City Council Commission D highlights the cancellation on the planned purchase of heavy equipment and waste that have been programmed Jakarta Cleanliness Department.

The cancellation reason is not logic

"The cancellation reason is not logic. Because there had been planning and passed discussion in Banggar. Why is it suddenly canceled," said Rois Sandayana, Member of City Council Commission D, Tuesday (8/23).

City Council Wants Purchase of British Embassy's Land to Be Studied

According to him, if it is canceled due to cannot be absorbed, it will become a note of Cleanliness Dept which cannot run the program.

"If it is not realized until the end of this year, that means dept absorption is low and become a note. You cannot make a plan but suddenly cancel it," he stressed.

Vice Chairman of City Council Commission D, Abdurahman Suhaimi added similar case is also spotted in City Housing and Government Building Dept. They cancel a fund amounting tl Rp 2 trillion. 

"This is not logic, this is the weakness of planning," he closed.
