The city administration has given permission on qurban animal slaughtering in school this year. It can be done, as long as the committee makes a report to City Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Dept.

City Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Dept Head, Darjamuni disclosed, this year, qurban animal slaughtering can be done in school. But there are a few requirements that should be met.

"Qurban animal slaughtering can be done anywhere this year, includimg in school, as long as they report to us," he disclosed, at City Hall, Monday (9/5).

The report in question is the dept can do monitoring slaughtering technical and animal health. The qurban committee in school could report slaughtering process through maritime sub-dept in each regions.

"They have to report through sub-dept. We also have done training for 655 qurban committees," he expressed. 

Ahead of Eid ul Adha, his side will send 808 officers to monitor animal slaughtering. Those consist of 300 people from Animal Faculty of Bogor Agriculture University (IPB), 50 people from Indonesian Veterinarian Association (PDHI), 23 people from Agriculture Ministry, 97 people from Maritime Dept and 383 people from Maritime Sub-dept.

"They will spread in 5 regions. So far we do not know how many schools that will hold qurban animal slaughtering, because it's still being recorded," he finished.
