Jakarta City Council wants several tourism sites in the capital to be reactivated. One of the sites is Jalan Jaksa, Kebon Sirih, Menteng, Central Jakarta.

According to him, Jalan Jaksa which previously known as center of culinary is now gone. Local hotels also do not give much contribution for the local revenue.

Meanwhile, Jakarta Head Dept. of Tourism and Culture, Catur Laswanto, explained his side is cooperate with Jakarta Regional Research Council to promote the area again.
“We need to decide the correct concept for the area,” he stated.
