KJP Encouraged to Touch Private Schools

Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat disclosed, not only education facilities, outstanding students who have Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) will get scholarships to graduate.

"If the students have achievement again while in college (S1), we will promote them to S2 or continue education in foreign countries. This is our commitment," he disclosed, after he inaugurated a new building for the graduate lecture program at Brawijaya University, Jalan Abdul Muis, Central Jakarta, Saturday (9/10).

He predicts, worker recruitment in 2030 in Indonesia would hit 130 million people. However, standardization of education would be even higher.

"In 2030, we'll need 130 million workers who have D3-S3 degree," he told.

At this time, the city government has had a scholarship program to KJP holders who enter PTN. Even, specifically has worked with 26 state universities in Indonesia to be able to accept students with KJP achievement.
