Section Head of Operational, West Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-dept, Rompis Romli disclosed, fire that guts Transjakarta bus (Jakarta-Tasikmalaya) occurred at jaround 7.30 AM near Kebon Jeruk Toll's exit gate. Before the incident, the bus drove by Adeng (47) was coming from Tangerang towards Jakarta.
"Because seeing smoke from behind bus, he immediately pulled the bus on roadside. And the flames came out and burned the bus," he expressed, Monday (9/12).
According to him, three fire trucks sent to extinguish the flames and managed to control it at around one hour.
"The cause is from shorted wires in the engine parts," he closed.
