Jakarta Provincial Government is about to propose formula to calculate the Province Minimum Wage (UMP). The calculation will be different with other regions.
We can provide our formula as long as the stakeholder suggestion does not violate the law
Bandi Muharam Asmara, Head Sub-Division of Regional Regulation of Law Bureau, said there are services have been covered by the government. The services are free bus, flat, education, and health.
“We can provide our formula as long as the stakeholder suggestion does not violate the law,” he said, Tuesday (9/13).
City to Revise Bylaw on EmploymentAccording to him, Jakarta as capital city needs special formula without violating the existing regulation.
The new formula is next year UMP = running UMP + (running UMP x (inflation + economic growth)).
“It is hoped we’ll get precise formula for the capital city,” he closed.
