Railway Crossing Closure in W. Jakarta Identified

The planned closure towards railway crossing in East Jakarta began to be discussed at provincial level. Several locations that have entered closure list such as Pondok Kopi and Jl Pramuka Flyover.

We're currently identifying the technical factor. Such as some public minivans that intersect with other trajectories. There should be solution

Head of East Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept, Ismanto explains his side has done survey on the Pondok Kopi's railway crossing.

There are at least four trajectories of public transport that affected the project. They cannot pass under the flyover and must pass over.

"We're currently identifying the technical factor. Such as some public minivans that intersect with other trajectories. There should be solution," he continued, Wednesday (9/14). 

For closure execution, his side prepares supporting facilities such as MCB concrete or road barrier thus it is installed at the location.

He also ensures socialization must be done soon thus the central government policy could run without protest from public.

"This impact is very wide. Hence, we'll do socialize it first," he told.

Besides installing banner, socialization would directly be done to the wide people.
