An acacia tree fell on Jl Melawai Raya, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta. Thus far, the tree that had caused traffic jam has been evacuated.

"Due to rain and strong wind, tree fell in the middle of the street. But now it has been evacuated," said Unang (45), a grocery peddler near the scene, Monday (9/19).

He added, the evacuation itself was also assisted by Satpol PP. "No casualty here. But tree almost crashed on a motorcyclist. Congestion had lasted for one hour," he stated.

And now, traffic on Jl Melawai Raya, from Melawai towards Blok M and Jl Tirtayasa had returned to normal.
