Six Points of Inundation in Jakarta Receded

Heavy rain that showered part of the capital has left inundation at some points. But now, it has been receded quickly after being handled by PPSU officer.

At 2.30 PM, water has receded after being handled by PPSU and blue taskforce

An operation officer's operational control center (pusdalops) for City Regional Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD), Desemanto recorded, there are six points inundated since 12.30 PM. "This is due to heavy rain," he said, Monday (9/19).

Those six points that inundated are at Jalan Kepa Duri Mas (10-30 cm), Jalan Kebon Raya (10-30 cm), Jalan Plem Timur Jeruk Manis 4 (10-30 cm), Jalan Soeroso in front of BIC Bunda International Clinic Cikini (10-30 cm), Jalan MH. Thamrin in front of Indosat Patung Kuda (10-30 cm) and Jalan Pramuka Sari IV (10-30 cm).

Jakarta Must Be Free From Inundation Every 10 Minutes

"At 2.30 PM, water has receded after being handled by PPSU and blue taskforce. They then clean the channel that clogged by garbage," he stated.

His side also recorded that a tree has fallen on Jalan MelawaƬ Raya, South Jakarta. Luckily, it was handled by Fire Handling and Rescue Dept, Park and Cemetery Dept, Satpol PP and PPSU.
