The collapsed crossing bridge incident in Pasar Minggu has made residents at Jalan Hayam Wuruk, West Jakarta worry. The construction of ads banner on several crossing bridges (JPO) at the street are prone to collapse.

Sukandar (43), one of the residents, admitted mostly the big ads banners are installed with low quality framework.

West Jakarta Head Sub-dept. of Transportation, Anggiat Banjarnahor, said there are 41 JPOs in his area. Four JPOs along Jalan Hayam Wuruk have big ads banner installed.
“The JPOs are under province agency, but we have reported the condition,” he stated.
