Hundreds of PKL on Jl Kramat Jaya will Be Relocated

Around 223 street vendors (PKL) who sell alongside Jl Kramat Jaya, precisely in front of Jakarta Islamic Centre, Tugu Utara, Koja will be relocated to the yard of Koja Baru Market.

Indeed, there will be pro and cons and suddenly relocated, but they finally agree

As planned, relocation is slated on October 6, 2016. This is because arrangement concept and PKL empowerment will become a pilot project.

Tugu Utara Urban Village Head, Nandang Hidayat disclosed, appeal letter and socialization has been done. Thus far, 50 PKL representatives attend socialization about relocation plan held by sub-district and urban village side.

PKL Stalls on Jalan Kramat Jaya Baru Controlled

"Last night, we sent four teams to collect data and give written appeals to the PKL. Indeed, there will be pro and cons and suddenly relocated, but they finally agree," he stated, Tuesday (9/27).

Dated on October 3, 2016, they will undergo a raffling stage to get the stall.

If they are relocated, PD Pasar Jaya will set the PKL's operational time. Thus it does not clash with Koja Baru Market vendors.

"Operational time will be at 6 PM until midnight. But at morning until noon, this is the right of the vendors inside the market," he closed.
