The East Jakarta Satpol PP will install parking and trading sign bans, as well as will add street lights in order to prevent criminal acts in Pasar Rebo Flyover, Ciracas Sub-District, East Jakarta.

"Lighting is very lacking there, thus many motorists park their vehicles until the evening due to beautiful scenery," said Head of Facility and Infrastructure Section for East Jakarta Satpol PP, Agus Sadiki, Friday (5/16).
Sadiki continued that his side is only conducting patrols from 6-9 AM and 4-9 PM. "We supervise the place this month because there have been 3 times of robbery actions and 2 people died this year," he told.
Locals Complaining Street Light Poles in the Middle of RoadHe disclosed, the East Jakarta Industry and Energy Sub-Department was already instructed to install street lights in such location. By so, the motorists would not stop haphazardly.
Head of East Jakarta Industry and Energy Sub-Department, Tuti Kurnia said that her sub-department is going to install 4 spotlights with 400 watts power.
"For Pasar Rebo Flyover, has been listed in our program and is currently being processed by the procurement service unit (ULP)," she expressed.
He added that spotlight installation is only temporarily. In future, there would be additional street light. She also has coordinated this matter with Ciracas Sub-District Head, where 1,489 street lights planned to be installed in Ciracas Sub-District area.
