Next Week, Kir Registration in Ujung Menteng PKB Closed Temporarily

City Transportation Dept plans to close kir registration temporarily at the Ujung Menteng Motor Vehicle Test (PKB), Cakung, East Jakarta on Thursday (10/13).

Next week, no kir registration for particular vehicle in Ujung Menteng PKB. It will be diverted to Pulogadung and Cilincing PKB

Such temporary closure only applies to pick-up car and double cabin with tonnage of less than three tons, diverted for booking and kir test in Pulogadung PKB. While the goods card with tonnage of more than eight tons, is diverted for booking and kir test in Cilincing PKB.

Jakarta Transportation Dept Head, Andri Yansyah disclosed, starting the upcoming Thursday, the kir registration for particular vehicles in Ujung Menteng PKB will be closed temporarily.

KIR Deadline for Online Taxi Extended Six Months

It is done to avoid long queue until 2017. Moreover, the existing queue has reached on December 20, 2016. 

"Next week, no kir registration for particular vehicle in Ujung Menteng PKB. It will be diverted to Pulogadung and Cilincing PKB," he told.

Despite it is closed, the kir test in Ujung Menteng PKB remains run as usual. It is to serve vehicles that have registered since a few months ago. If the queue number runs out, registration will be reopened.
