4,301 Online Taxis Passed KIR Test

City Transportation Dept recorded, 4,301 out of 4,572 online taxis that undergo kir test are passed and eligible to operate. Then those who do not pass or not yet process the licensing, the dept would control them if they still operate.

City Transportation Dept Head, Andri Yansyah asserted, his side will intensively control online taxis.

"Because there are still protests, we really appreciate for those who have processed all the licensing," he said, Monday (9/19).

4,252 Online Taxis Undergo KIR

According to him, the enthusiasm of the thousands of online taxi owners manages licensing every Sunday is a form of awareness to obey the rules. Because of that, he wondered if there are owners who refuse to process the license.

"Appreciate for those who are willing to process kir, there have been approximately 4,000 units. Now, if you want to complain, it doesn't make sense," he uttered.

As planned, the raid would be conducted again on October 1, 2016. If there is still found violation, the offender will be grounded.
