37 Pets in Pekojan Vaccinated

To prevent rabies circulation, as many as 37 pets such as dogs, cats and weasels are vaccinated in Pekojan Urban Village, Tambora Sub-district.

Head of West Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Sub-dept, Marsawitri Gumay disclosed, vaccination towards pets is an annual activity and also to welcome the world rabies day anniversary, that falls every September 26.

"This vaccination is done to anticipate rabies on the animal," she expressed, Wednesday (10/12).

Those 37 pets that have been vaccinated consist of 24 dogs,10 cats and 3 weasels.
