JakBistro Outlet Launched at City Hall

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama inaugurated the first JakBistro outlet at the City Hall. The outlet that serves a variety of different foods and beverages which is belonging Jakarta BUMD, namely Jakarta Tourisindo.

Basuki disclosed, the outlet will become a hangout on the sidewalk of Sudirman-Thamrin. As planned, the sidewalk will be widened.
"We're creating a program to make buildings without fence. The sidewalk on the protocol road will be widened, that's why we still give them permission to set up a hangout as we make (JakBistro) without calculating KDB," he stated, at City Hall, Monday (10/17).

"They can open small stalls like we have, it can be a model. In Europe, we can find it easily. They give tables as a place to hang out," he stated.
His party is going to widen the Sudirman-Thamrin's sidewalks up to 77 kilometers. The existing building will be directed to open the fence, thus the sidewalk widening, between 9-10 meters.
"You can imagine, 7.7 kilometers from Monas until Patung Pemuda Senayan, people could open the JakBistro outlet," he disclosed.
The outlet is located in the City Hall's lobby. It is not too large, that is about 5 square meters. In the front, there are tables and chairs for visitor and will open every day at 8 AM.
